@Will_Bunch Higher ed is about engaging students & personal and professional growth.

Its about fostering connections between the course materials and experience/current events. It should encourage connections between multiple courses and across semesters.

E-courses haven't gotten there yet

Unless were talking about a for profit venture that churns out degrees for students who do little more than show up.

Teaching an online class now and its depressing how disengaged students are. Yet they expect to pass because "online classes are easy"

After a lecture about heat pumps and heat engines, students were shown an example of a heat turbine (engine) and then tasked with building one of their own.
