@_MSchumacher Saddening when you hear about people’s virtuous after they may suffer misfortune. Being English I had always wanted to see Michael lose. But then afterward one hears about the half-million he had donated to the 9/11 fund. MS is a great man and his personality so very much missed.
@elonmusk@robbysoave@esaagar I don’t know what all the fuss is about with Elon Musk taking over Twitter. He’s made a few bucks so obviously isn’t stupid. But Amber Heard? What was he thinking?
@JimmyConnors@garyvee I miss the old wooden racquets, when the game wasn’t so fast and rallies were plentiful. That’s when it was a game of finesse and not power. Then came Wham! Bam! Thank you, man! Boring.
@TheLeoTerrell I hated you in your early days on Hannity. Even had to switch off when you were on. Now I might switch off if you’re not on. Funny world!
@NikkiHaley This was exactly the English mentality when I left high school in London in 1979. I’d be working at McDonald’s for minimum wage while my mate would ask “why work when you can live ‘on the dole’” (government checks)? Thatcher soon got to work, as eventually did most everyone else.
@NikkiHaley At least Jimmy Carter fully boycotted the 1980 Moscow Olympics. But I’m noticing these two have a fair bit more in common. Inflation going way up and the USA looking ridiculous internationally.
@stbles@TheLeoTerrell@NBSaphierMD@FoxNews Leo’s great to watch and I love what he has to say. Nowadays, anyway. Always hits the nail on the head. In a way reminds me of Thomas Sowell in his switch from Left to Right. When asked why he had changed his views, Sowell replied “facts”.
@TheLeoTerrell@NBSaphierMD@FoxNews You’re great, Leo! I’ve recently begun to watch Hannity just to see what you have to say. Who would’ve thought a couple years ago when you were yelling at everyone and I had to turn you off. Then yesterday you’re even hosting Hannity’s show. Nice work, sir! I want a Leo 2.0 cap!
@NikkiHaley Martin Luther King taught us to judge others not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. This is something I have always adhered to as well have 99% of the people I have ever known. Critical Race Theory teaches the opposite. The results will be ruinous.
@JimmyConnors Tennis has changed so much since the ‘80s. There are no personalities today. I used to love watching Jimbo and McEnroe in their epic duels. I used to live in London and hated McEnroe but how we miss his type now. And who would’ve thought years later I’d be buying McEnroe’s books?
@KariLake The US media has long stopped pretending it is objective. Until 2015 the neutral, or even a conservative, could still watch CNN or the network news (admittedly never MSNBC) and then make their own minds up. But today they’ve all thrown their lot in together with the Democrats.
@benshapiro Suicidal thoughts? I highly doubt this. Could’ve just left the situation, packed her bags and headed back to a safe space in LA. We don’t send wenches to the Tower anymore. Doubt she would’ve been short of a couple of bucks either. Besides, the princess is a strong-minded woman.
@SouthernerSays The brunette who was Taylor’s (play by Charlton Heston) mate in Planet Of The Apes. She was an absolute delight. Also the fact that she was a mute - I’d never get any nagging.
@RealJamesWoods At the height of the riots in Los Angeles last year I walked into the LAPD station in Hollywood and said, “I was a guest of yours here 30 years ago but this time I’m just here to”... and applauded them.
@RLHeinrichs@GrayConnolly They seem not to care for the damage they’re doing to their families, members of the Royal staff and the monarchy itself. But we are supposed to feel pity while they make millions and the rest of the world is greatly suffering. Very sad.
