I dislike certain artists, groups, and ships, but I will never use racism or xenophobia as a weapon against their fans. Even as a 12-year-old, I remember telling my mother that the people I hated most were racists. If I understood back then that racism was wrong, I certainly understand it now. No fan war, ship, artist, or personal dislike will ever be enough to make me compromise my morals and basic respect for other people.
