🤣 India really said “if unu call wi cockroach, wi ago form a party then.”
The Cockroach Janta Party might sound like pure comedy, but underneath the memes is real frustration from young people feeling ignored by the political system.
As a Jamaican watching this unfold, mi cyaah even laugh too hard because politics worldwide reaching a stage where the youth dem turning pain into satire 😄🇯🇲🇮🇳

I have shared a copy of Mayor Swaby’s 2020 Resolution calling for an increase in the PRF portions allocated to each of the 40 KSAMC divisions.
Despite getting approximately $300M more since becoming mayor, the Mayor of Kingston has not increased the allocations to divisions; however, he keeps lamenting the need for more funds.
His disinvestment in Road Infrastructure is directly related to the state of our roads
Thank you to the World Bank team for your efforts in getting a US$200 million Catastrophe Bond placed in the global financial markets for Jamaica!! This is a major part of our natural disaster risk financing. This Cat Bond placement marks a significance development for Jamaica!🇯🇲

Nonsense. Nobody needs to intervene. The law is the law. The purpose of the parliament is to pass laws. As a country we are too obsessed with guns and criminal activities.
"Every #Jamaican deserves the best possible education.” 60 schools built during his tenure; Primary capacity increased to 100%, Secondary to 70%; biggest expansion ever.

Jamaica already has a massive gun problem, so honestly I will never understand why people believe fake guns should still be a part of the culture to promote music. Leave guns alone in every form. Real or imitation, the image being pushed is still the same.
Music is powerful enough without constantly glorifying violence. Use the creativity for something else. Every day we hear about another shooting, another family grieving, another young life lost, yet people still want to defend gun imagery as “just entertainment.” At some point we have to be serious as a country.
The GG should not roll back this sentence. Jamaica cannot continue sending mixed signals about guns while pretending we want to reduce violence at the same time.
