4:41am- 2nd Alarm Fire: LBFD units responded to the 5600 blk of California Ave. for a fully involved house and detached garage. 9 residents displaced, including 7 minors. No injuries reported. Fire investigators on scene.

Regional public safety agencies are onscene in Unified Command working an incident in which we received reports regarding a missing diver in the Port of Long Beach.
Search operations will continue in and around the area where the diver was last seen.
The focus of the mission continues on the search for the missing man, and the safety and support of those still actively searching for him.
#LBAlert📢Last night, south swell activity combined with a 🌊high tide significantly eroded the existing sand berm that typically protects the Peninsula's surrounding areas. This resulted in seawater intrusion along the boardwalk on the ocean side of the Peninsula.
As we have done in years past, @LongBeachParks staff will continue to fortify the berm. The next high tide is tonight at 8:30 p.m. and will measure 6.5 ft.
@LongBeachCity will continue to monitor the high tide and swell activity throughout the afternoon into the evening.
3:53am-LBFD on scene of 2nd alarm fire at the 7900 blk of E. Spring St. for an apartment fire in a 1st floor apartment that extended to the unit above. Fire knockdown after 25 min. One female patient treated and released with smoke inhalation injuries @lbfirefighters

We received reports of a 5.1 earthquake near Ojai that was felt by some residents in Long Beach. #YourLBFD is assessing critical infrastructure throughout the city to determine if there was any damage noted.
