I cant explain it, but the team building in Metaphor is almost perfect. Its not super broken (at least early game) and feels balanced. Boss battles have been a joy so far, like having someone do aoe damage will another member will focus on getting buffed to take out the main boss

Jack Bros. Perfect Halloween game. Short and fun. Can be beaten in a day. Difficulty is just right, but you'd probably be better off using save states before bosses instead of having to redo entire levels. Baffles me this wasn't officially rereleased on 3DS Virtual Console. 7/10

Log of games or other media I've finished this year. First up, Ys The Oath in Felghana. Fantastic. Combat is much more snappier and not as stiff as VI. The bracelet system opens up a lot for combat. Music is stellar. Bosses are just right in terms of difficulty. 10/10

Digital Devil Saga. Pretty good balance between a standard RPG along with the Press Turn System found in the main line SMT games. Not too long and and the story is paced excellently. Music's great, dungeons good, and battles are balanced. Just wish it had a bit longer. 8/10
