@apersonaboutit@Shane00 Spurs were ranked higher this season and have the DPOY. Points allowed were only less for Cavs because scoring and pace league wide were lower as a whole at the time.
@LeBarbosa112@BigWaffal@NickStillHere 1986-87 when he averaged 37ppg on 27.8 shots the league average was 88.8 FGA.
This year? 89.1. Where are these extra shots you’re talking about?
@Raragunner@TylerHeroStan@BiasedHouston Are you sure about that? When LeBron, Kareem, Magic, Kobe, Shaq, Tim, Bird, Wilt are all commonplace in Top 5 lists?
@LeBarbosa112@BigWaffal@NickStillHere Why didn’t he just take those extra lay ups back then? Pace was pretty much the same. You’re assuming the opposing teams won’t make adjustments. That he’ll just shoot those extra lay ups and make them. That he won’t get tired taking 30+ and miss some shots also. For 82 games.
@BigWaffal@LeBarbosa112@NickStillHere The only way it would be possible is if he has a three ball and shoots at a higher clip than he did. Even then could be a stretch. Definitely won’t be easy, and for sure isn’t doing it multiple seasons.
@LeBarbosa112@BigWaffal@NickStillHere Go look up some data if you think 80’s and 90’s were the slowest. Hint, they weren’t. He is not averaging 40+. 50, not even remotely close. He averaged 37 taking 27 shots a game and 12FTA. He is absolutely not taking 30+ shots per game while also getting 12-14FT’s. It’s laughable
@bballbreakdown@canonnz_ If he stood still or went straight up defender would’ve missed him or just grazed him. He jumped sideways so the defender would hit him.
@CCknockout@theblockspot The NHL doesn’t care about US vs Canada, they don’t get “sent down south”. The players play where they get drafted and traded to. 25 teams vs 7. Where do you think most will end up?
@silveradolord80@kdr_golf@espn 7 teams compared to 25. This discourse of US vs Canada in the NHL is weird. It’s a pro league, anyone from anywhere can be drafted and traded to any team, and they don’t really care as long as they get to play hockey.
