🚨 CHRISTMAS BOOKS GIVEAWAY 🚨
Fancy some edu-reading for Xmas? It is advent time, so I’ve decided to give away full ‘Closing the Gap’ collections (all 3 books) to ***2*** prize winners.
Simply RETWEET this post to enter.
[I’ll be drawing the two winners on 8th December]
@LBL_Shakespeare The best part about your delightful video is how accessible it is to young people aka the next generation of Doubters who will carry the question forward! Well done. 👏🏼
@DUSKdev I just read it myself for the first time. The opening chapters are brilliant, and beyond that, I love how slow and human it all is. Like, Dracula is no joke, despite its cartoonish impression that pop culture has given me.
@missdcox I use PowerPoint all the time in making videos and resources for my students. I try to make the slideshows more dynamic and fast-paced. Here's an example: https://t.co/VoKEAfghxI
@EmilyRCWilson So grateful to have been selected for the Audible version of your Iliad. Just finished your Odyssey and was hoping to get to this eventually. Eventually comes sooner than expected ❤️ 🍾
I could BARDLY believe it when I learned that my video on Edward de Vere placed first, alongside Frank Lawler's, for the top prize in @WhoDaBard's "Whodunnit" video contest! I'm so pleased that the judges enjoyed my work :) https://t.co/OmYbXkGylV
Here's a complete version of Macbeth with visual and textual annotations, which I hope will help students grasp Shakespeare's language and break through to understanding his genius https://t.co/jx50DGKqSx
@EmilyRCWilson The last few lines of Book 9... They're quite ordinary, but I felt so much pity for Odysseus and his endless adventure: "So we sailed on, with sorrow in our hearts, / glad to survive, but grieving for our friends."
@debiesim I really appreciate this tweet. Thank you for taking the time! You're right, they are labour-intensive. I've put them on the back burner, but they are so important to me. I'll get back into them when I can ❤️ I plan to prioritize more analytical video essays.
