This Banned Books Week, we're celebrating the freedom to read and supporting Books Unbanned, which gives teens ages 13–19 outside of LA County free access to thousands of e-books through a Long Beach Public Library digital card. Let's keep stories in readers’ hands nationwide!

Our community deserves more library access, not less. Only 5 of Long Beach’s 12 libraries are open on Mondays, and proposed budget cuts could end Monday services entirely. Sign the petition today to protect library hours and services across Long Beach: https://t.co/ZBL9X5oIk5
