@walkingwwaino I’m on day 72. I thought having school canceled for the rest of the year would help, but I’m busier now than I ever was teaching in my classroom. My goal was to complete 2 days of study each day to catch up, but so far that hasn’t worked every day. Still going strong though!

@walkingwwaino Weekdays usually between work (I teach) and cooking dinner. Weekends in the morning and/or Sunday afternoon. I’m two days behind, but still at it and dedicated to stay with it. Job has slowed me down.

@walkingwwaino Thought #2-Matthew 12:43-45 made me think of habits as well as evil. We can’t simply get rid of bad habits. They need to be replaced with good ones or the bad ones will just resurface.

@walkingwwaino Thought #1-“For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” In today’s world, the fingers type what the heart is full of. Some think they can hide behind a screen, but the heart shines through.

@walkingwwaino When I opened the email and saw the word Patience, I cringed. So hard for me. I saw that the verses for Genesis weren’t listed and thought, “Waino is giving me a chance to practice my patience.” We all want what we want immediately, especially in today’s world of quick answers.

@walkingwwaino Psalm 4:6-God’s prosperity does not look like prosperity in the world. Until we accept that, we certainly won’t enjoy all of his blessing on us. The Beatitudes remind us that God doesn’t promise an easy life, but he’ll be with us through the hard times if we’re following him.
