Wheels and ramps usually are explored through inquiry based units os study. @versoschool it’s inherent within the construction of the Loops. We have companion slides, climbing nets and walls next to those old boring stairs. #designforinspiration#creativemoves
@Stuartski With the proper visa and certificate of entry yes. The process is dependent on the embassy near you but it's taken us almost 2 months now to get everything sorted out to finally have an arrival date.
@versoschool I would have to bring a Cheese and Charcuterie board, à la française, with various tartines (bleu cheese, pear, honey, and hazelnut is my favourite) for savory, and mini éclairs or paris-brests for dessert 😋
✅Awarded school license
✅Passed COVID Measures Assessment

Le monde d'après sera résolument écologique. Je m'y engage. Nous le bâtirons ensemble. Nous avons une opportunité historique de reconstruire notre économie et notre société sur de nouvelles bases, de nous réinventer, d’investir dans un avenir décarboné.
“I think that society does not demand enough of the grown-ups in the world to model empathetic and creative behavior. I think that grown-ups say terrible things like, 'I can’t draw,’ and then don’t understand why kids put down their crayons.”

@emilyfranESL@LenaGT@EDd_2B Overall I was very impressed with the collaboration that happened and the conversation that followed. Not only were students more empathetic towards our EAL students but they all gained a deeper understanding of the value of visual cues.
@emilyfranESL@LenaGT@EDd_2B As a last phase I added visuals of each step to accompany the instructions. At that point almost all students were able to complete the simple task. Some students picked up on a lot of subtle communication cues, which we spoke about during our discussion afterwards.
@emilyfranESL@LenaGT@EDd_2B We then used hand gestures in addition to oral instructions which helped about a third of the students. But still some students were very confused. At this point students starter helping each other out and collaborating to guess what they needed to do. It was great to listen to!
@emilyfranESL@LenaGT@EDd_2B I absolutely loved that learning engagement! We started with only oral instructions in French, which no student understood, and after a lot of confusion and laughs some students started to show a few signs of frustrations. A few confident students voiced their concerns.
