@DeafSocialWork @DeanaJAyers I am also concerned with that. Our graduation has been postponed. However, I'm thankful for remote learning experiences that are being adapted and will help us get to the finish line! It helps knowing that many others are in the same situation and we can confide in each other.
#MacroSW I run a blog about social work and various futures topics - I did a post this week about futures thinking and what is happening right now with Covid-19. Please visit. #SWcovid19 https://t.co/pf7aLPFrX8
@karenzgoda I'm doing well. My school has transitioned to online classes for the remainder of the semester and my agency is now doing a work from home format. I'm thankful for technology at this point in time! I am also enjoying reading different books that I have wanted to for awhile now!
@FunchesKeoshia I also think sharing resources and educating others is very important! On a positive note in WI, with school closures there have many food establishments offering free lunches daily for children!
@FunchesKeoshia I think this chat is a great example of how we can be there for another! We need to continue to check up on our colleagues, friends, clients, and those working in the health care field during this time.
Hi all! My name is Logan Bjerkos and I am BSW student at Viterbo University-La Crosse, WI. The COVID-19 is impacting our social work profession in many ways. I'm interested in how others have continued to work during this time. #SWcovid19#MacroSW
