Slow start but driver, driver, chip in eagle turned it around. Only 6 fairways, 9 GIR, 26 putts, wedge was on but 2 late bogeys kept me out of the red. Finished with 72 and T14. @legendsjrtour
@TJGT Texas boys invitational is in the books. Round 2 started with a man made rain delay. TJGT staff and parents did a great job clearing the green. I hit 12 of 14 fairways, 9 of 18 greens, 27 putts, 1 double, 2 Chip in birdies and 2 late bogies for a 73. T15 of 84.
1st tournament of the fall and 1st on this course. Not the results I was looking for but still managed some decent play. 73% fairways, 44% GIR and 60 putts over two days and shot 76,77. Off to Dallas for the Texas Boys Invitational this weekend.
Working hard between tournaments. 100% fairways hit and 83% greens in regulation for a 1 under 70. Bogey on 18 cost me my 1st 69. Progress is coming along and looking forward to shooting 69 or better soon.
22 of 28 (78%) fairways and 26 of 36 (72%) Greens in Regulation for the weekend. 65 putts kept me from scoring under par. Need a little more work on my putting but the game is coming together.
Highlights from Round 1 @STPGAJuniorGolf at Landa Park. Two big number holes cost me 4 shots but settled down and shot 75. Looking forward to better scoring tomorrow.
Highlights from @TJGT at Onion Creek. Solid final round saw me hit 12 of 18 GIR but 1 miscalculated approach shot and 2 three putts was the difference between 1st and T3rd place with 76, 74. I want to thank the @TJGT staff for another great tournament.
Thank you @TJGT for hosting an amazing tournament! I’m excited to pick up my first TJGT at one of my favorite courses at River Crossing Country Club with a two day total of 149. (73-76)
Aggieland Classic is in books. I had started working with a TPI strength trainer on the Tuesday prior to this tournament and didn’t realize how sore I would be. Definitely my worse finish ever but I know this training will make me stronger and better long term.
Day 1 @TJGT Landa Park Summer Blast. Played well throughout the day with 5 birdies but 1 OB triple kept me out of the red numbers and finished +2 (73). Wedge wasn't as sharp as usual but will tighten it up and be ready tomorrow.
Day 2 had 14 pars, 2 doubles and a unfortunate 9. Scores weren’t what I expected but I actually played pretty well just need to manage the course better when I am offline. Off to Landa Park on Monday where I will turn it around.
Opening round LJT at Falcon Pointe. Turned front at -1 despite hitting in the water on number 9. 11 putts on front 9. 3 unfortunate doubles on back and carded a 77.
