To my white educators: Today, you’re posting about social justice, buying antiracist books, following brown folks, and temp changing your profile pictures. (thread)
Here’s what I need you to do tomorrow:
As our family waits for God to bring us a child through fostering and hopefully adoption- we pray our child will not be treated unkindly because of his or her skin color.
am so disgusted in how we are treating one another. There is no excuse for those cops watching and murdering George Floyd. I teach my own kids as well as my kids in the classroom - racism still exists and what are WE going to do about it? We can’t be silent and watch.
Restorative discipline recognizes that conflicts are opportunities for students to understand the impact of their behavior, understand their obligation to take responsibility for their actions, & take steps toward making things right. I love this! #HackingSchoolDiscipline#Hack3
PSA: 📣

Next should be everything else.
