Significant illegal dumping which occurred over the Christmas period at Townley Hall woods car park beside the River Boyne. Over 20 dumped black bags of domestic waste have been removed by Louth County Council.

As part of Louth County Councils Anti-Dumping Initiative 2023, there will be a Mattress and Couch Amnesty Event in Dundalk and Drogheda on Weds 30th Aug 2023 and in Ardee on Thurs 31st Aug 2023. #AntiDumpingInitiative2023 #louth

Louth CoCo are holding a Free Mattress and Couch Disposal Day as part of Anti-Dumping Initiative 2022 at both Dundalk & Drogheda V&W civic amenity centres on Weds 31st Aug 2022 at 9am-5:30pm. Normal recycling entry charge of €4 will apply. Max limit of 3 per vehicle. #ADI2022

The EPA has published its Provisional Greenhouse Gas Emissions inventory for 2021. Ireland’s emissions in 2021 rebounded strongly compared to 2020 when Covid-19 was at its worst. Worryingly, the emissions have continued to increase when we look at pre Covid19 in Ireland. (1/2)
