@FrLavery@Praxisdecombat@TradCathSermons Many Catholic monarchs had laws against interracial marriages. If it was wrong to do this, you don’t think it would have been called out by the Church?
@FrLavery@AmericanReform_ Maybe he is deleting it because priests have more influence and following and can destroy a person reputation more than he can defend it.
@SedeRabbit@MalleusJudas Maybe the laity. But the priests certainly know. They are too familiar and too many of their priests have been shown the true Catholic position.
@AmericanReform_ Is this directed at fr Lavery or myself? I agree, white people are a group, same as black. I just did not capitalize it. I would break it down even further saying that Germans are a group, anglos are a group, Italians, etc.
@MalleusJudas@usmntonly Just look a what I told him in my replies a few days ago. Even the very origin of the word nation simply refutes the points brought forward.
@MalleusJudas@usmntonly Yes, faith first before race, but he believes, from what I’ve seen, that it’s sinful to preserve your race as the primary inhabitants of a nation, that it’s sinful to want to live around your race, and that it’s sinful to want your kids to marry people of your race.
@realsedepicante I don’t care what Thomas Sowell has to say. Ethnically irish people have integrated much more than Somalis, Indians, etc. But what you said proves my point, since you think it would be sinful to want to keep an English area from becoming Irish based on race.
@realsedepicante If every Indian living in India rn got relaxes with an African or a European, it would no longer be India. It would be a different nation as it would be a different people. It’s easy to understand one way for liberals but then reverse it and it’s impossible.
@realsedepicante That’s not necessarily true since Irish immigrants are much closer in culture as we as racially closer than Indians, Pakistanis, Africans, etc. It is quite easy to understand that a nation must have something to do with the people that make it up.
@realsedepicante Yes, fundamentally different. Just like America is a fundamentally different nation now than it was before the mass migration since the 60’s, albeit the migration now is from third world countries rather than white Catholic ones.
@realsedepicante The race of the nation, which without that race it would be a different nation. Also, “diverse” societies are always bad, it never works. This is literally why Catholicism is required for salvation, since unity on earth through natural means is impossible.
@realsedepicante I understand. But the idea that a group of people with the same religion, culture, and indeed race, can be condemned for wanting to preserve their nation with any one of the three, either combined or separately, or a combination. Many Catholic societies have done that already.
@realsedepicante It’s not color though. It is race. Many things are downstream from race. What do you make of Catholic kings separating ethnicities and banning interracial marriages?
@realsedepicante Ok. Is it sinful to have a government, say the Dutch government, to utilize their power to keep the Netherlands ethnically Dutch, or even as an extension racially white, at least as a prominent majority?
