In other news, media layoff bloodbath continued this week at Vice. 10% of workforce is being laid off, and Vice’s Friday night specials — a particular favorite of this newspaper — have not been renewed by HBO. Our hearts go out to all of the journalists & staff affected.
Current labs are ~90 minutes long and occur once a week. Unclear how labs will he consolidated into new yellow blocks.

A draft of the new schedule was revealed at Morning Meeting today. The schedule is slated for trial in early April — students will experience a full 8-day cycle.
Break will be 15 minutes plus a new 40-minute block (yellow) devoted to Morning Meeting, office hours, and “community” time (unclear what community will exactly entail). Labs will take place during yellow block; arts classes will be absorbed into the 75-minute core blocks.
