The HSE is responsible for thousands of needless deaths in Nursing homes. The fact is they paid private homes a fee per resident and left them alone to die.
The ignored endless complaints of abuse and neglect and pumped in patients untested from Hospitals (Beaumont in our homes case)
@CareChampions2
Didn’t take long!
Carers down €1800 and people with disabilities €1400 but hey here’s an annual payment that we make out we give you out of our own pockets at a time of unprecedented financial pressure.
Point of order, carers is the only support taxed, yes, TAXED.

All the pacing and rest before going to Croke Park (I was dropped right in) couldn’t prevent a PEM crash today. I’m learning that sometimes I need to push myself for my mental health, not often but I don’t get any time to myself as it is. I went by myself too
Today was a great day, got back to one of my favourite places for the first time in 6 years and now Enjoying the #SnowPatrol gig in St Anne’s Park from my couch
Sometimes it takes a few days before I process something I was told.
I just realised during the family part of autism and adhd assessment either the psychiatrist or psychologist told my mother private information about my sessions (not related to the assessment itself)
It’s never been smooth sailing with “Covid psych” or @Beaumont_Dublin it’s been a battle every step of the way and now this #LongCovid #psych #breachofconfidentiality
The principal of one of the largest schools in Co. Wexford has vowed to take to the streets after the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) denied extra support for 54 high-needs pupils, including a blind child and 36 students with autism.
Frank Murphy, principal of St Aidan's primary school in Enniscorthy has voiced frustration on behalf of himself, his staff, parents, and children in the school at the lack of support or willingness to discuss issues by the NCSE
"It is like pulling a piece of skin and holes opening. We are taking from children in order to give to other children who are more in need. They are going without literacy and numeracy support because the teacher is trying to manage other students that need to be regulated. It is not right,” he added.

Hi John, Irish Jew here, daughter of a German born Holocaust survivor and no, I have never experienced antisemitism here in Ireland. I'm very happy with our boycott of the Eurovision and Richie Sadler's comments re the football match. I'm extremely proud of my fellow Irish and their stand against genocide. As my late mother taught me.."Never again means never again..to anyone ..anywhere... ever.." I hope this clarifies the issue for you.
I have childhood trauma, emotional abuse and neglect among other things.
I’ve spent years and years in therapy discussing this and dealing with it.
I became chronically ill in April 2020 when I caught COVID 19 at work.
I have had debilitating symptoms since then and medically discharged from the Long Covid Clinic.
2 years under “psych Covid” and both those years being told it’s childhood trauma
Me too they are telling me until the childhood trauma is dealt with I won’t get physically better. I mean we’ve gone through every little detail of my life (definitely not my idea) it’s been dealt with a long time and I was moving forward until this Clinic clung onto it for 4 years 🤷♀️
Do you know what’s shit, not having a single person in the world to share your emotions with without some sort of quiz or argument and I’m almost 40 😭
Parents it’s ok for your adult child to be sad, just listen, stop bombarding them with questions and solutions

Is it a coincidence I became chronically ill after a Covid infection or did my body just give up after years of neglecting myself for others. 😭 my head is fried
I’ve done so much reading and research into the link between childhood trauma and chronic illness, I know it can cause all sorts of health issues. I accept that.
What I don’t accept is doctors ignoring physical symptoms because they know “it’s just childhood trauma” for 4 years to then find out there are physical issues going on which we can treat
I’m so curious how a patient can end up having to go through a psychiatrist if they need medical help, physical help and the hospital accept it 🤔 #longcovid#medtwitter
2 years ago I had an xray done on my jaw and was told their was a “foreign object” left behind after an extraction.
I got referred to the Dublin Dental hospital when I contacted my dentist.
I am terrified of dentists due to anaesthetic not working while they did work as a child.
I’ve never been to the dental hospital and had no idea what to expect. Room full of students and one supervising them. They were amazing and she was absolutely horrible.
I don’t care if you’re the CEO or security you don’t get to be rude and unprofessional to those below your rank or patients
