The Nature Explorers learned how to make paper from recycled paper. They collected paper from their classrooms, sorted the paper by type, blended into pulp, and used deckles to make their new paper.
As March, which is designated as Arts in Our Schools Month, is ending we would like to take time to thank our music teacher, Miranda Walker, and our art teacher, Holly Kratz, for all they do for our school. We are very thankful for you both.

Congratulations to the following schools for advancing to the final round of our "Elementary Battle of the Books" competition on March 3 at 9:00 a.m. at Randolph Community College: Coleridge, Franklinville, Hopewell, Level Cross, Seagrove, Southmont, Tabernacle, and Trindale.
Our 3rd graders under the direction of Mrs. Miranda Walker helped us get into the Christmas Spirit with their production of Elfis and the Sleigh Riders! Thank you to Ms. Kratz and the art club for creating the amazing sets for the musical!
4th graders at Level Cross have enjoyed learning about our state in the Media Center over the last month. Thank you to the NC History Museum for your wonderful History in a Box kits. The hands on activities kept them engaged the entire time!! @BeyondTheXhbits
