Last week, Melrose celebrated Liberation Day with an inspiring Assembly by Margaret Le Cras about growing up in Occupied Guernsey. We explored military vehicles, enjoyed a picnic lunch, and practiced our dance routine. A fantastic way to honour our island's history! #TLCgsy

Guernsey is launching the Titan Wealth Community Cricket Programme. With the T20 World Cup Trophy visiting from June 12-14, we learned about the tournament and met Molly and Anni from our Ladies' 1st XI squad. Thanks to Titan Wealth and ICC for inspiring our future cricketers!
Last week, Form III had an especially poignant trip to the Occupation Museum.
The Gurkhas, Chelsea Pensioners and Royal Fire Service complete with WW2 fire engine were also visiting and we were able to meet them and ask them questions.

Wednesday saw Melrose take to the pond for the first after school sailing club of the term.
The girls did really well with 3 of them never having sailed before to having a few expert sailors who were roll tacking and tackling the triangle course with ease!
