Garland ISD Librarian Appreciation Week is a time to celebrate the incredible impact our librarians have on students, staff, and the entire learning community. Librarians are more than keepers of books. They are literacy leaders, instructional partners, and champions of curiosity who help students grow into lifelong readers and learners.
Through collaboration, innovation, and a deep commitment to student success, GISD librarians create welcoming spaces where every child can discover, explore, and thrive. Their work plays a vital role in supporting academic achievement and fostering a true love of reading across our district.
