Year 8 students are bringing the reggae vibes on their ukuleles as they learn how to perform ‘Three Little Birds’ during their music lessons. Proving that learning something new can be a lot of fun.
Throughout their classes this week, Year 10 GCSE Drama students have started their devising process for their practical assessment using the stimulus of ‘Misinformation’ using the theatre company The Paper Birds as influence. #GCSE#GCSEdrama
The Year 9 girls looked fantastic in the new LCHS football kit ahead of their indoor 5-a-side tournament on Tuesday. The girls put up a solid fight against some tough oppositions securing 4th place. Well done girls, we are #LCHSProud
Throughout today, Years 9 and 11 attended their own careers fair at school. This gave them lots of opportunities to talk about their future education and career paths. Thank you to all the universities, collages and companies that came out today for the event.
Year 10's Personal Development Day has been all about 'Respect Me'. They have throughout the day joined in with discussions and lectures about mental health, abuse, consent and other similar matters.

Y10's have been introduced to Shakespeare again this week in their English classes; studying a classic: Romeo and Juliet. Ms Andrew teaching her class via the medium of Drama! Students acting out a version of the exchange between Sampson, Gregory and Abraham from Act 1 Scene 1.

As we approach the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, commemorated by Holocaust Memorial Day in Britain on 27th January. Sixth Formers and Staff were invited today to attend a lecture detailing the importance of why we remember such events. #holocaustmemorialday
