Warmest congratulations to our patron @JonAshworth on your appointment as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the New Year Honours.
This is a richly deserved recognition of outstanding service to public life. We appreciate your support & association with us.
From my family to yours, I wish you a very happy Christmas.
This is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Christmas story, and the Christian values that define it.
Let’s look forward and celebrate the joy and hope that Christmas brings.
The Employment Rights Act is now law.
This is the biggest upgrade to working people’s rights in a generation.
You will be protected from fire and rehire.
You won't be forced onto an exploitative zero hour contract.
You will get sick pay from day one.
You will have stronger family leave.
And so much more.
I couldn’t be prouder to lead the government that made this happen.
Our landmark Planning and Infrastructure Bill has just received Royal Assent - that means it is now an Act of Parliament and the law.
Through the measures in this Act we will speed up and streamline the delivery of new homes and critical infrastructure.

We’ve now had the sixth interest rate cut since the election. This is welcome news for working families across the country.
We are doing more to tackle the cost of living crisis: expanding free breakfast clubs, cutting £150 off the average energy bill next year, and freezing rail fares.
I know there's families who are still struggling - we are taking action to bring costs down.
LCIO extends congratulations to Andrea Egan @Andrea4GS on her election as General Secretary of @unisontheunion.
Acknowledging the fantastic work of union to safeguard the interest of its members and looking forward to support new GS to improve lives and working conditions.
The Employment Rights Bill has cleared its final parliamentary hurdle. A piece of legislation only a Labour government could bring and long fought for by many of my colleagues and the wider movement. The hard work of implementing it starts now.
LCIO welcomes the approval of @UKLabour flagship Employment Rights Bill in parliament which offers extra set of protections to rights of employee.
Many Thanks @AngelaRayner for championing the bill which improves working conditions and protects thousands who may be exploited.
