For more than four decades, Rear Adm. Gregory Todd has served alongside Sailors, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen, through times of peace and war. Now, the Navy Chief of Chaplains, prepares for a new season: retirement.

Adm. Todd recently sat down with CBN News National Security Correspondent, Caitlin Burke, reflecting on faith, service, sacrifice, and the calling that kept him in uniform for more than 40 years.

✝️Our Director, @zitman73 Chaplain Craig Muehler was honored to preach at Messiah Lutheran Church in Valdosta, GA this Memorial Day weekend.

🇺🇸They also dedicated a Flag Pole given by a family in living memory of Don who served as a US Marine.

⚓️Their pastor, Rev. Stephen Wareham is currently attending Navy training to serve as a Chaplain in the Navy Reserves.

✈️Messiah Lutheran is the primary LCMS congregation serving Moody Air Force Base and they have a lot of vets and active duty military in their pews.

God's richest blessings to LCMS Chaplain @GregoryNTodd1 as he retires from 40 years of serving Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen. Chaplain Todd served as the Navy Chief of Chaplains for the last four years, overseeing the spiritual care for millions of military members and family members. His leadership will be felt for years to come. We thank Chaplain Todd and his family for their sacrifices and may our Risen Lord bless him in his retirement.

LCMS Army Reserve Chaplain Travis Yee was recently training at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. Chaplain Yee is a full time pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Whitestone, New York. We give thanks for our congregations that support their pastors who serve both a parish and in the military.
