Yesterday we played 36 holes at RedTail Run in Decatur. The 1st 18 we shot 320 and 311 in the 2nd round.

Spencer Marquez led our team at +5 for the day, 74-75. He finished tied for 4th in a field of talented players.

Team goal is to break 310 once this year!

The team played well for our first CCAC Tournament at TPC Deere Run! We dropped a couple of spots to finish in 7th after day 2. Proud of how this group controlled emotions and was able to grind through. S/O to Spencer Marquez for a T-9 finish!

Happy to announce the signing of Rilee West from Western HS in Barry, IL. Rilee has played some great golf lately and will continue that when he joins our program in the fall. He had a TON of people at his signing to support him and had a couple of interviews with local news

The team had a great day today! We shot our lowest total of the year with a 309! We moved up one spot to finish 4th. Spencer Marquez had our lowest 2-day total and finished in solo 7th. Not pictured, Aaron Evans shot 83, 85 and Jaryd “Goat” Breece went 85, 85.

Excited to announce the signing of Riley Kiesewetter from Oswego HS! Riley signed yesterday at his school with his family, former coach, and Coach Mathis in attendance. He’s a big hitter who loves to practice and play. Excited to have him join us in the fall!

Our squad played in the McNaughton Memorial Tournament at the Jacksonville Country Club. We finally got to play in good golf conditions and posted a 319. Very happy that we could post a good score and finish 5th out of 11.
