Due to predicted severe weather conditions, Loudon County Schools will be closed Friday, January 12. Students are also off school Monday, January 15 for MLK Day and teacher in-service.
Late last night, a coordinated effort led by THP, @LCSOTN , and Loudon City Police resulted in the arrest of murder suspect Brandon David Howard. The suspect was wanted for a malicious murder case in Georgia.

LCSO Deputies and THP Troopers are scene of an injury crash involving a truck and trailer on Interstate 75 Southbound at the 81 mile marker.
One lane is shut down while crews work to clear the scene.

PHILADELPHIA, TENNESSEE - First responders and utility crews are scene of a water main leak located on State Route Highway 11 at Christian Street in Philadelphia. At this time one lane of State Route 11 is shut down.

INTERSTATE 75 SB SHUTDOWN FOR A VEHICLE VS PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT
LENOIR CITY, TENNESSEE - Interstate 75 at mile marker 75.6 is shut down. The delays are expected to last for several hours. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
Due to severe weather predictions during school hours and dismissal time, Loudon County Schools will be closed Friday, March 3, 2023. The Fine Arts Festival scheduled at Loudon High School has been postponed to March 21.
Deputy Ryan Fleming is requesting YOUR help in locating the owners of a missing dog. A small black and brown dog was located by Deputy Fleming on State Route 72, in Loudon, near Prospect Church Road.
