Rehearsals will start mid-May, be held 3-5 times per week (evenings and weekend afternoons), with the production running July 12-15 and 19-22 at the Fort La Tour outdoor site.
Auditions for Macbeth will be held at the BMO Studio Theatre (112 Princess Street) on Thursday, April 6th from 7:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, April 8th from 1:00-4:00 PM. Doors will open 15 minutes before auditions begin; those auditioning will then sign up for their 6-minute slot.
Please come prepared with any speech from Macbeth (max. 35 lines).
Macbeth will be a single role. All other roles will be doubling (or more). There will be 10 roles in total.
This event is free of charge, but donations are always welcome.
**Note: The Shakespeare Open Mic Nights will be offered as a substitute for the originally scheduled Shakespeare Summer Sequel Variety Show.**
