Even their own attorney admits it: “There’s an absolute free flow of ideas in the classroom where people debate issues. On social media there is not,” Steven Oxenhandler said.

She makes LC feel like home, and she does everything without complaining or feeling sorry for herself (even though the SSC is severely underfunded).
She's such a positive example, and her passion for helping students is evident in everything she does.
We love you, Mama Jo! 🧡💙
I want to bring attention to one of the best faculty members currently working at LC.
Ms. JoLynn McConley (or Mama Jo' to all of us 🤗)
She works in the SSC, and I'm sure everyone has gotten a hug from her at least once. She's probably even told you how much she loves you 😭
I’m compiling stories from folks who have been mistreated, bullied, harassed, fired, etc. by @LA_College.
If you feel comfortable, share your story below 👇🏼
@LamarWhiteJr@bayoubrief@ethanfrancois_ LC's current admin has a very similar doctrine of authority as Aguillard's. LC never took the steps to turn around. I ran across this piece I wrote in 2013 about what LC needed to do to turn around, I was surprised by how little they have actually done.

@ethanfrancois_ This is why I left that school🙄 they have a need to be in control of all of their students even though the students are all adults and are perfectly capable of making their own decisions.
By no means the only story like this of students having free expression quashed at private Christian colleges. But the basis for punishment here reeallllllly strains credulity. Imagine being disciplined for posting this at any other higher ed institution! https://t.co/wmv4NMf902
A recent graduate of Louisiana College says administrators used strict social media policies to censor criticism of the college. College officials say they are within their rights to protect the reputation of the institution. https://t.co/9G24euJQSs
In my opinion, this is exactly that #andthensome attitude that LC tried to teach me for 4 years.
You guys taught me to publicly denounce sin— I guess you didn't realize I took it so seriously
La. College issued a response to my interview w/ '21 grad @ethanfrancois_, which begins w/ a Churchill quote about telling the truth, accuses Francois of lying, asserts the 1st Amend doesn't apply to them, & ends by asking them not to run the story.
