“Window Shopping” // This image was born from bad luck and a little creativity. The other night, I parked my car on a street in Downtown Los Angeles to visit a friend. A few hours later I came out to discover my window had been smashed and a backpack stolen. Thankfully, the backpack is probably the funniest thing they could have picked. It was full of playboy bunny outfits and tights so I hope they’re enjoying that. Regardless, having your property smashed and stolen is truly a violating experience. But rather than get upset about it, my mind saw that shattered window and immediately saw an opportunity for a piece of art to be created. I wanted to reimagine the scene of the crime with a model thief during her night out on the town. She goes from car to car on a destructive window shopping spree pulling bags from luxury brands at every stop. This is my attempt at finding beauty in the broken and creation in destruction.
