@lippert__ I tried, @lippert__ , I really tried. I canceled my old order, began an order directly with one of your reps - and then she told me that the shipping costs would be $170. What?!? That does not help at all.
@lippert__ I've ordered your 30" Triple Solid Steps for my camper TWICE now and both times I've received this little grommet. I'm waiting for the THIRD shipment but that has already taken longer than promised. $400 and three weeks later, am I ever going to get my steps?
@lippert__ How should I send you a private message? Twitter/X does not seem to let me do that without a Premium membership. Is there an email address I can use?
@WallStreetApes If she's paid back $38K in the last 17 years, she's paid less than $190 per month- that's NOT how to pay off $28K. Federal student loans rate today is 6.4%. Pay $316/month for ten years, that loan will be paid off. I don't know what she's doing, but it's not the loan's fault.
@RealPJGlassey@WallStreetApes Most houses in the 50s had two or three bedrooms. The kids shared bedrooms, had hand me down clothes and bicycles (no cars!), didn’t have devices that cost a full week’s wages (for the device, much less the service!), didn’t drink coffee that cost an hour’s wage. I could go on….
@jamesloesch_@JohnSaponaro If they want to stomp with their poster boy Ohtani, it would make a much better impression if everything he said wasn’t said through an interpreter. I’d rather listen to words actually coming out of Francisco Alvarez’ mouth than Ohtani’s interpreter any day.
@Jasaffron100@RyanMath6284 Or you could do the bare minimum as a parent and check your kid’s grades so you know how they’re doing. Or talk to your kid, ask them how they’re doing? Not knowing how they’re doing when all the data is there (and you seem to have time to tweet about it) is what’s unacceptable.
@NursePatMacRN @lauraharvey1535 @lakrogers I understand that. The thing is, though, that if the new scientists aren't being produced through the funding being provided, the industries that need those new scientists will have to figure out how to get them - and then they'll probably realize they need to fund more programs.
@lauraharvey1535 @lakrogers I went into a small amount of debt for my undergrad degree (engineering) but my grad school was fully paid. I would not have done that degree if it had involved ANY out of pocket expense.
@lauraharvey1535 @lakrogers No! She said "full funding", as in, your PhD is funded by the university or an external source (i.e., industry, in the case of most science/math/engineering grad degrees).
