@cafreeland That's acrock. The weather don't pay capital gains. They leverage their investments as opposed to selling them and paying the tax. Just because you say it, doesn't make it true.
@raghu_venugopal My parents were both offered the opportunity to pay for upgraded lenses at a publicly funded hospital. Adequate is paid for by OHIP, upgrades are out of pocket…in our publicly funded system.
@DonDavies Why not call out the doctors that are participating in this? They are the one that are offer their service for a few. They are driving this shift.
@AmitAryaMD Private facilities that provide lab, testing and imaging services make a profit and are OHIP covered today. Public institutions are inefficient at best. We need to change how healthcare is delivered cuz what we are doing now isn’t working.
@theJagmeetSingh Nobody is attacking Universal Public Healthcare. Stop twisting the story. What’s happening is a change in the delivery mechanism that is and will still be 100% funded by the government. We can’t keep throwing money at it. We need change so dollars can be more effective.
@bruceanderson You seem to have it backwards. You should be protesting the efforts of a professional association to limit one’s freedom of expression. ,that is guaranteed under the charter. You don’t give up your charter rights because you belong to an organization.
