@Scott_Wiener Kids are not allowed to use their asthma inhaler or carry their own EpiPen for severe allergies at school without parents consent and loads of paperwork. Many schools do not allow kids to have Tylenol or even sunblock application at school without a parents consent. U r insane!

@Matt4VA A mild case of Covid can cause long term issues. Vaccines do not prevent mild cases. So v or unv should not matter. Also, when young athletes recover from Covid there is period of time (1-3 weeks) where they will experience SOB, chest pain, fatigue. Delay return to sports.

@innerand @dislexicon True-we don’t know how long boosters last. Best expert guess: 6 months. TBE vaccine is not available in the U.S. and is not transmitted person to person. Poor vaccine comparison. recent CDC update states that more study is needed to determine if the v’d spread C less then unv’d.

@dislexicon @innerand No sicker then a bad flu. Lost taste and smell for a week. Took a few weeks to get energy level back. It is a strange virus with new symptoms every day that quickly dissipate. I passed it to my kids- one v’d, one not. V’d kid was pretty sick. The other only lost smell- that’s it.

@GavinNewsom I’m so glad that we now will have a drug that will reduce the risk of hospitalization or death when we get Covid... oh wait, wasn’t that what the vaccines were suppose to do? The news headlines were clear: this antiviral drug is not to replace vaccines. So what is it for?

@dislexicon @innerand I got Moderna and 2 months later got Covid. We are all going to get it at some point. Boosters prolong your protection for a few months but the vaccines don’t give you immunity. Same as the flu. And now we will have a medication like tamiflu to ease the severity.

@kylegriffin1 It is a new, novel thing to mandate a vaccine for a population that is at the LOWEST risk of serious disease. According to the CDC, Measles, Mumps, Polio, chicken Pox,etc:children are at the highest risk of contracting and suffering serious consequences. Not the same thing!!!!!!!
