All personnel are accounted for and safe. It’s too early to know the root cause but we’re already working to find it. Very rough day, but we’ll rebuild whatever needs rebuilding and get back to flying. It’s worth it.
This is my video of the explosion of the Blue Origin New Glenn rocket at Cape Canaveral’s pad LC-36 a short time ago. Includes video & audio from roughly 5 miles away near Jetty Park. That was an absolutely enormous explosion! 🤯
Note: Thankfully, Blue says all staff are OK.
Here's our video of the explosion at Launch Complex 36. It happened about 9 pm ET (0100 UTC) as Blue Origin was beginning a static fire test of its New Glenn rocket.

Tragic news to share: A 2-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a car on the beach in New Smyrna Beach.
The preliminary investigation reveals the child ran into a traffic lane and was struck by a vehicle around 4:30 p.m. today on the beach near E. Seventh Avenue. The child was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, and at this time, it does not appear speed or impairment are a factor.
The Volusia Sheriff’s Office sends our deepest condolences to the child’s family.

We've discovered some users may experience intermittent sign‑in failures, including “too many requests” errors, or unexpected sign‑outs. We're analyzing service telemetry further to identify any potential next steps and mitigation actions. For more information, please visit https://t.co/bVoAAh3D2G.
Upon reviewing service telemetry further, we've identified an unexpected increase in error rates affecting two separate error scenarios. We suspect this may be contributing to creating impact, and we're conducting additional analysis to confirm this. For more information, please visit https://t.co/bVoAAh3D2G.
We will provide updates as they become available and confirm information. Our teams are on the ground assessing the situation and investigating. All of our protectees are safe.
