The Musketeers traveled to the beautiful Billericay to face the Essex Redbacks in their new field, with the bats showing up on both sides.
We are now 3-0 for the season!
Rose Bhanji, Marianna Casal and Gabriella Sassoli in action this season for the London Mayhem! Congratulations to all three on their selection to the @GB_Baseball Women's National team extended roster!
The Musketeers came down yesterday to help with the @WBUKbaseball gameday at Finsbury Park, which ended with a nail-biting extra innings affair between the Mayhem and @BellesBaseball. We were delighted to witness the growth of women's baseball in this country!
Another week, another split with Croydon...
After a week off, the Muskies put in earnest work to split the final series against the Pirates last Sunday. We will head to Guildford next weekend for our last matchup with the Mavericks.
The Muskies and Mavericks traded blows and split the series last Sunday.
We aim to refocus and fine tune our craft this bye week and will face the Pirates at Finsbury on the first of August.
After getting swept against the Sidewinders at Enfield, the pitchers brought their A games and split the series against the Croydon Pirates yesterday.
With the playoffs chase still on, we will take on the Guildford Mavericks at Finsbury Park next Sunday.
Our bats and arms went off at Enfield against the Latin Boys, defeating them twice in two five inning affairs.
Next week, we will be back against the Sidewinders this year, hoping to climb back up to the second playoffs spot.
Iiiiiiit's... Muskie time! 🔥⚾️⏰
The Musketeers won the first game thanks to Tony's walk off line drive single, and rode the momentum to shut out the Dragons and win the 3-0 low scoring affair.
Additional shout out to the infield for their defense and Tatsu's exceptional pitching debut!
After nine nail-biting slugfest innings, the Muskies managed to hang on for a game one win. Following this, we rode the momentum and gave up only one run in the second game for a bank holiday sweep!
We are above .500!
Rainy day blues ☔️
The Musketeers dropped the first game against the Croydon Pirates 13-19, before the second game was interrupted by a rain delay.
Hopefully under summer skies, we will play the East London Latin Boys next week at Farnham.
Despite a strong performance from both on the mound and by the plate... we lost both against the Sidewinders. Great job to the opposing team, and see you Croydon next week!
Nothing sweeter than an opening day sweep!
The Muskies' bats exploded and we won 13-3 and 21-10 against the Richmond Dragons.
Well played and thanks for a great Sunday Richmond!
