I try to remain very civil in argument and focus on logic alone - I’m able to judge my success in argument in part by the number of people that block me mid argument instead of refute me. Of course, logic dictates that standing on that metric alone would require its own false premise, but it is one of several metrics that lets me know how I’m doing.

I’m familiar with Sapolsky’s work and it comes with two major problems - either his work simply corroborates claims to transhood and don’t prove them - leaving your basis for transhood still unexplained, or he makes stronger claims that are logically impossible and invalid against his own scientific method - that the gender categories can’t have measured overlap - because a measurement that overlaps necessarily is in the category it overlaps with rather than being in an outside category with similarities.

In short: measured overlap in neurology cannot prove a categorical change - it just indicates overlap alone. In other words, a horse can’t be a cow no matter how similar its brain works, and you can’t become Malaysian simply for having similar thoughts or neurological mechanisms to a Malaysian.

Interestingly, if formal logic interests you, Sapolsky begs the question with his conclusions about the “real you” - he smuggles in the definition of the real you being the specific neurological markers he measured and not the rest of the markers or any other seemingly highly pertinent markers, such as gametes or chromosomes.

There is no means for verification between bad and good faith claims to transhood as trans is inherently unfalsifiable - for you to assume any claims to transhood are in bad faith is within your own system acting in bad faith. Unless and until there is a means for proving an unfalsifiable claim your assumption of bad faith either violates the trans framework or renders the framework as an ideology rather than a physical reality.

In short, there is no such thing as “bad faith transgenderism” within the trans framework - for you to reject/accept a claim is to impose a test and there is no test outside declaration alone.

The only way my answer could be perceived as evading is if you beg the question and presume the trans framework is valid, which I already stated I reject.

As I won’t grant validity to the framework I can’t claim that Royce, Enes, or anyone else is capable of being sincerely trans, but the fact that you require belief as part of authentic transhood moves your conception of transhood out of ideology and into religion. If you must truly believe you’re trans in order to be trans, that notion assumes the existence of people who don’t believe hard enough and you’ve reduced womanhood to a faith system.

Your problem now is not an impossible test for sincerity, but the construction of a religious framework and no entity or individual can be compelled to participate in someone else’s religion.

I don’t believe in the trans ideological framework, so I don’t believe anyone can be sincere when they’re claiming transhood. The problem for you is that there’s no test for gender if sex is removed and voicing skepticism around someone’s claim based on their politics concedes the notion that trans is ideological and not a physical reality.

Are you suggesting that society determines your gender or the definition of gender? If the latter, then I agree, and we should choose a coherent definition based on sex, otherwise it becomes so ambiguous as to be unidentifiable.

There’s nothing disingenuous about forcing people to answer for the illogic they created, especially if it causes measurable harm to society.
