What a radio journey I’ve had!!!
… thanks @Barrett_Media for including me in your Top 20
- started in 2008 on 1070 in Indy from scratch … built our midday show (when there was no midday show) into a FOUR TIME NATIONAL SHOW OF THE YEAR
- Too many “Indiana Radio Show of The Year” awards to count
- after The Great Jeff Smulyan sold @EmmisComm to @UrbanOneRadio told that crew adios
- a year later starting on @Ticket1430 .. a station that had ZERO presence in Indy or elsewhere with a signal nobody knew existed
- built “The Dan Dakich Show” ,in one year, into a NATIONAL TOP 15 show and “Indiana Radio Sports Show of The Year”
- advertising $$$$ thru the roof
- Great people to work with
- “The Dakich Misfits”make everyday a blast
- the show that replaced me on the other channel?
Nowhere to be seen!!
- is there an Indiana Broadcast Hall of Fame?
