Antisemitism in Thailand.
The owner of Samui Exotic Park on Koh Samui attacked an Israeli tourist and refused entry to his family. A day later he posted a series of aggressive videos on Instagram.
In one of them he walks through the park and displays a shooting target he placed next to an Israeli flag. His message is clear:
âIf itâs still not clear that youâre not welcome here, Iâll explain it to you by force.â
This is not a misunderstanding.
This is open hostility directed at Israelis simply for being Israeli.
Hello @Tripadvisor,
Apparently, you have suspended reviews for Samui Exo Park without providing any meaningful explanation about the incident itself.
(See disclaimer below)
So I have a few questions.
đŽIs it acceptable for you to continue promoting a venue after its director was filmed assaulting a woman in front of her children and threatening to ârip her head offâ if she did not leave immediately because she is Israeli ?
(Video 1)
đŽIs it acceptable to promote a venue where a sign reportedly states that Israelis are not welcome, displayed next to a shooting target?
(See video 2 coming from his Instagram account itâs written above https://t.co/woCrILZrc9)
đŽIs it acceptable for tourists to be asked where they come from and then thrown out because of their nationality?
And now, instead of addressing these extremely serious allegations, reviews have been suspended.
After watching the footage below, are you really comfortable continuing to promote this venue while preventing visitors from commenting on what has happened?
@Tripadvisor, this deserves a clear and public response.
