I kinda don't fw Homelander dying at the end of the boys, would have been much more satisfying to see him cradling himself in a cell while the whole prison mocks him now that he has nothing. he kinda gets off easy losing his powers for 5 secs and then dying
@LinkofSunshine this is a dumb comparison, a human life is worth infinitely more than $1,000,000, and a person doesn't not inherently become poverty stricken without a $1,000,00, even if they did that is no where near the same as dying. not comparable in the slightest
and so I think it's silly, and bad faith to just label that person as devaluing the art, especially when you are not taking the whole piece into account yourself
I Feel like this tweet is an instance of people often taking media that is several art forms and then over simplifying it, a show is not just visual art, it is the writing, the SFX, ect. you appreciate visual more, but the person you describe may just appreciate the writing more.
I genuinely think that βIβd rather get cheap animation than wait years between seasonsβ mindset stems from subconsciously looking at the show as content rather than art.
In 10 years when itβs all said and done and the show ages like milk youβll wish they took their time instead.
@TokuDojo@joshuacassara there are alot of good videos on this, one is by ethan becker for drawing backgrounds specifically, but vanishing points apply to all objects, I personally use blender with a cube that has extruded vertices to visualize where each line meets, hope this was helpful in someway! 2/2
@TokuDojo@joshuacassara hi, not sure exactly what you're asking so just a general breakdown is that any lines that are in parallel to each other will always converge at a point(called a vanishing point) in perspective, you can see here that these lines visually are not parallel, but technically are 1/2
personally my own take on this is what goes on in Cyan's head since most of them are relatively close to her in colour. The fact that C7C, being eerily similar to Superstitional Realism, won the race was also probably no coincidence and some form of relation to the real HRT
