LEAD Minneapolis has had a daily presence at @campnenookaasi at its newest location. Camp organizer, Nicole Mason, has worked diligently with our team to ensure residents get connected to much needed intensive case management support.

We had the first ever LEAD Minneapolis Summit at City Hall (@LEADMPLS).
They are an alternative response to law violations rooted in behavioral health needs, homelessness, and extreme poverty on East Lake Street. 1/2

This proposed budget amendment will ensure LEAD is able to continue serving the East Lake Street community and provide much needed supportive services to individuals struggling with behavioral health needs, homelessness, and extreme poverty.
I’m bringing forward funding for the Let Everyone Advance with Dignity Program with Council Members Koski and Chowdhury.
This is a harm reduction-based, intensive case management for individuals who commit law violations. 5/
Together, we distributed hot meals, Narcan kits, wound kits, and a host of other harm reduction resources.
@LEADMPLS accepted 6 self-referrals for individuals wanting intensive case management support.
