Leaders often burn out because they have compartmentalized home, work, relationships, health... and other areas.
Authentic leaders figure out how to integrate their Career, Calling, Community and Creativity. When these things converge burnout is averted.
Titles have little to do with leadership. The person who serves the most people is the greater leader. Leadership is about deploying your "time, talents and treasures" for the greatest common good while staying in your lane. Understanding your LEMON wiring will help you do this.
Caring for others is a choice, not an emotion. It doesn't matter whether you are a Luminary or a Manager (or any of the LEMON slices) you can choose to care for others. The key is to show care for others in a way they will best perceive it.
Self-leadership requires that we know ourselves and steward our leadership quotient: mental (IQ), physical (PQ), organizational (OQ), emotional (EQ), and spiritual (SQ). And, of course, we must ensure that our physical health keeps up with our leadership mandate.
Self-leaders assess reality, evaluate what's already in their hands, understand their wiring and work hard to attain their objectives. They are aware of their identity and how to grow into it. making them secure, industrious, and inventive!
These are some leadership concepts to practice in your own life before attempting to lead others.

If we want to be excellent leaders, we must empower those we work with to be good at their job. This doesn't imply that we do their job for them, rather, we assist them in obtaining the resources, information, and support they require to succeed.
Leadership is responsibility to be stepped into in every scenario. When you perceive each situation as an opportunity to serve through leading, you'll take a leap toward your full potential.

No two people perceive, or receive, love in the same way, so the purpose of digging into your L4L Profile is to equip you to better understand this thing called love, at least from a LEMON perspective, and then to make those in your life feel, see, experience the love you have.
"Learning that when we say something, the other perceives it a different way was a bit of an 'ah ha' in the way that [my fiancé] and I were saying it different; but in the more memorable cases, actually saying the same thing." - Testimonial from AF

"Greatness is not measured by what a man or woman accomplishes, but by the opposition he or she has to overcome to reach [their] goals." - Dorothy Height
Having gained a better understanding of what type of leaders we are, we can recognize how different situations call for different leaders; we can learn to exercise the leadership gifts of the appropriate LEMON in any circumstance.
Having weaknesses is not a crime; recognizing them in advance helps us to overcome or at least navigate them.
“On a good day I live in the positive attributes of my primary LEMON slice. On a bad day I love out the negative attributes of my secondary LEMON slice.”
