Elegance isn’t loud. It lingers in reflections, in silence, in details carved long before us.
Certain corners of the world understand that better than most.
There’s a Japanese saying that I love:
“If you feel like you’re losing everything, remember, trees lose their leaves every year, yet they still stand tall and wait for better days to come.”

Until July 5th, the Museum of Impressionism in Giverny (Normandy, France) is hosting an exhibition entitled "Before the Water Lilies: Monet Discovers Giverny, 1883-1890."
As part of the centenary of his death, it presents the works painted by Claude Monet (1840–1926) during the happy early years at his beloved property in Giverny, a village of 270 inhabitants.
He would spend the last 43 years of his life there, transforming the property, house, and garden into a work of art in its own right.
Here are some of the works on display:
1.Poppy Field, 1885
2.Panorama of Vernon, 1886
3.Poplars at Giverny, 1887
4.Haystacks at Giverny, Sunset, 1888–1889
The sea sparkles a little brighter, the breeze feels a little sweeter, and nature slows everything down. Some days carry the unmistakable scent of summer—warm, carefree, and endlessly beautiful.
Most people won’t say it out loud, but mental illness is everywhere. Hidden behind smiles, silence, and “I’m fine.”
Not everyone is okay—and pretending they are is exhausting them more than you know.
Be kind. You might be talking to someone who is surviving, not just living.
For animal lovers: see how sensitive they are to music, just like us.
