⭐️A wonderful opportunity to listen to, share with & learn from other colleagues.
See you all very soon!
Today, Year 5 got to grips with using Newton Meters in their science lesson to measure the force of gravity on different objects! 🦁🧡👍
They enjoyed being independent in their investigations and sharing their findings with the class!📣 @LEOScience2@LEOacademies@LEOinclusion
Today, Year 5 put their scientific investigation skills to the test to explore how the weight of an object is changed in water! 👩🔬👨🔬 They learnt about displacement theory and measured this using Newton Meters. 💧🪨
Why not ask them what they found out? 🤔

@ScienceWeekUK Great discussions this week in year 6 thinking about sustainability♻️ and how we can make positive changes to save our planet 🌎 The children loved creating their own ECO Schools 🏫 @LEOacademies
Year 3 have been investigating friction in Science. We tested different materials using a toy car. We concluded that the smooth surfaces, created the least friction. @LEOScience2#learning 🚗
Our Science Week has got off to a great start with our #greenschoolsproject workshops. Children in KS1 discussed helpful ways to look after our planet.
Looking forward to more exciting activities around sustainability this afternoon. @ShawleyPrimary@SustainableLEO@LEOScience2
As part of science week, Nursery have been developing their scientific skills of observation and describing changes by looking at the effect of water on skittles. @LEOacademies@LEOScience2
Happy Science Week! Year 2 had a fantastic time reusing plastic materials after listening to the story ‘Someone Swallowed Stanley’. We discovered how to transform plastic bags into kites and flew them! 🥼🛍️🪁#BritishScienceWeek2023#Sustainability@LEOacademies@LEOScience2
