The only thing I miss abt 2020 is how honest people were about their mental health. Now the charades are back with all the social rebounding. The pace picking up. The Monday complaining. The illusion of finished grief. I miss the bluntness that came with collective discontent.
@pagan_hoetry I spent my life in & out of NYC for family; even lived there 2x. it’s one of the homes I’ve made & thus made me partial concrete devotee.
But that doesn’t excuse the stress, hustle, & classism that can kill spirit, drive folx out, or harden the parts of you that should be soft.
@likaluca It could be timing but both my partner and I were slapping ourselves and one another, falling over with laughter while we watched it, which is *not* a common reaction for us. Really enjoyed it.
