💔 15 years at Betis… and this is how Pablo García left.
Pablo García and his mother were seen in tears as they drove away from Real Betis’ training ground after his transfer to Racing Santander was completed.
García joined Betis as a child at pre-benjamín level and worked his way through every stage of the academy before reaching the first team.
Now, at just 20, his Betis chapter is over.
He leaves after making 33 first-team appearances and scoring three goals — including his first-ever LaLiga goal just days ago.
Racing Santander will pay €5.5m for 50% of his economic rights, with Betis retaining a percentage of any future sale and a matching right.
For a player who had spent virtually his entire life in the green and white, saying goodbye clearly wasn't easy. 😢💚
Football can be brutal sometimes.

I rate Curtis very highly. For me he is a great player. It’s very important he’s Scouse, that he’s from here. I also like the personality”.

🎙️ Jackson Irvine on football's new mouth-covering rule:
"If you're saying something to someone that you don't want to be seen, I think it's safe to say it shouldn't be said."
A pretty straightforward take from the Australian midfielder. 👏🇦🇺
The new rule has already made headlines at this World Cup, and Irvine clearly isn't losing any sleep over it. 🟥⚽️
Fair point or too harsh? 👀👇

"The league is poor this year"
Translation
You can't rock up to the Gtech, the Stadium of Light or the Vitality unprepared with one eye on the UCL and sleepwalk to get 3 points any more
The traditional big 6 struggling is only a sign of the league's overall strength
Federico Chiesa: “If Crystal Palace wants to play long ball and long throw-ins they are more than welcome to do so, because we’re going to answer them with high intensity and winning duels, and trying to win. I don’t know if you say this in English but [in Italy] we say: ‘Winning brings winning.’ So we want to win tomorrow. That’s it.”
