@MattThielen Upset only happens with a FREE TRANSFER. There would never be any upset if it involved a MASSIVE FEE. Szobo is a very good player, but it’s still difficult to pinpoint his best position. For a MASSIVE FEE, of course I’d be happy to see him go.
Liverpool’s new Adidas contract is worth almost £1 billion over 10 years. Last season, they spent around £220m–£230m net on transfers. That means they still have £770m to burn. Victor Muñoz, Yan Diomande, Bradley Barcola, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Adam Wharton are all within their reach.
Liverpool's first bid for Yan Diomande was £75m (€86m) a week ago. This second bid of £87m (€100m) was probably sent and rejected three days ago. You can be sure that the final bid of £105m (€120m) has already been sent and accepted. Yan Diomande is 100% a Liverpool player.
🚨 BREAKING: RB Leipzig turn down €100m proposal received from Liverpool for Yan Diomandé.
RB Leipzig want more than €100m as still try to keep him — understand €120m could be the way… for now, based on WC performances too.
Leipzig expect PSG and more clubs to join the race.
€90m plus €10m from Liverpool not enough, as @philipphinze24 reported.
@MadridXtra@FabrizioRomano First refusal doesn't mean lower price. If let's say Bayern bid 100m for him in the future, Madrid has to bid the same. Then it's up to the player to decide where he wants to go.
@Emzyl_ We needed someone to replace Mane’s output, but the data showed no one. Gambled on Díaz — he wasn’t even half as good. Sold him before his value dropped. Blessing in disguise: PL attackers clearly thrive in the Bundesliga. New market unlocked."

I'll be pleasantly surprised if Liverpool land Víctor Muñoz, Yann Diomande, and Bradley Barcola. That said, reports from the start have made it clear that Andoni Iraola wants THREE new fast attackers.
This could mean several things:
1. PSG price Barcola out (100m+)
2. Barcola signs a new contract
3. Liverpool receive a good offer for Gakpo
4. Diomande’s deal is close to being finalized

@markgoldbridge I don't think United are walking away because of the price. Sure, the price is high, but I think it's more because other clubs are further ahead in negotiations — they've done a lot of groundwork long before United got involved.
Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino had better season last year than Darwin Núñez in the Saudi league. I really hope Liverpool think twice before bringing him back.
I'd be really disappointed if Darwin Núñez returns to Liverpool to play as our LW. We badly need to upgrade on Gakpo, and the market is very attractive for signing a new left winger.
