@michael_reid11 6th time #LFC have suffered 4 consecutive red cards (ie no opponent red in between). March 1939-March 1962 (very rare to get reds!), Aug 1972-Apr 1973, Sep 1992-Dec 1992, Oct 2009-Dec 2009 and Apr 2012-Sep 2012. This time it was less than 6 weeks...Never extended to 5 in a row.

@DanKennett Notice how both rugby codes and cricket are confident enough to let the paying/viewing public hear the discussion between VAR and referee? Significantly higher rate of accuracy than in football I'd suggest. There may be errors, but much fewer in any of those sports.

@GretnaServices @DanKennett @FA_PGMOL Problem with VAR is in the chair not in the technology. It is symptomatic of football in this country that it is too big to admit when is wrong - pure arrogance. It is the whole issue with football administration at all levels

@BassTunedToRed 4th time straight red cards in successive games (ie excl. red from two yellows): Jan 1991 (Hysen v Blackburn FA Cup/McMahon v Blackburn FA Cup replay), Feb 1995 (Babb v Forest/Ruddock v Burnley FA Cup), Feb 1999 (Matteo v Boro/Carragher v Charlton). Only defeat was Charlton game.

Only 4th time #LFC have missed a pen and received a red card in same game. Previously 15/2/64 Hunt (missed), Yeats (red); 16/4/01 Fowler (missed); Biscan (2 yellows>red); 13/9/17 Firmino (missed); Gomez (2 yellows>red)

Although for comparison, Klopp's #LFC have trailed in 33.9% of league games, with only Paisley and Fagan better at 33.3% each. (Shankly 42.2% and Dalglish 35.0%).

In 274 league games under Klopp, #LFC have trailed but still won in 12.4%, the highest of any #LFC manager. Next is Phil Taylor (11.2% from 143 games) and Ronnie Moran (11.1% from 9). No others above 10%. Too often behind but more likely to come good.

Since promotion in 1962, the only previous time #LFC have failed to lead in any of their opening 5 away league games was in 2006, a run that eventually ended after 7 games. The longest run at any point in a season is 9 games - 1974-75 and end of 1991-92 into 1992-93 seasons.

First time #LFC have gone into back to back matches within the same season as underdogs since Rodger's last and Klopp's first game in charge. Also highest odds in favour of a #LFC win in a home league game since 2001, except for Chelsea at the end of 2009-10 season.
