@AnfieldRoadL04 No such luck… no accountability or care as he’s leaving

#lfc

[Mike | Shearer @LFC_Mike94]

@Liverpool_zy Ekitike injured- no real back up striker

Robbo gone- tsimikas returned

Ramsey loaned, no back up RB for Frimpong by besides araujo with Gomez injury prone

Jones gone- no replacement

No defensive mid signed after 2 seasons of needing one, since the zubimendi fail

Shocking

[🅘 @LFCApproved]

There is no way this club or coach are happy with the squad as it stands. #LFC

One attacking injury away from Federico Chiesa being included, and that’s if he’s not injured to start with.

Now, one midfield injury away from Jay Spearing or an inexperienced academy player being included in the matchday squad.

Not having it, negligence at its finest.

[MO.YNWA⚽️ @Cooler_King70]

Maresca heavily backed
Alonso heavily backed
De zerbi heavily backed
Iraola hung out to dry!

[Mike | Shearer @LFC_Mike94]

@LFCApproved This was what they were trying to do when they signed marmadashvilli and armin Pesci.

When the squad is crying out for reinforcements in defence & midfield and we already have 3 keepers, two that were bought for the future of the club, It becomes a difficult decision to accept.

[Mike | Shearer @LFC_Mike94]

@TheKopHQ 3

Piss poor planning leads to piss poor performance.

Frimpong isn’t a RB and we need one badly ,

Kerkez is suspect,

we need a DM desperately ,

RW options are limited

Iraola has been left high and dry!!

[Mike | Shearer @LFC_Mike94]

Fans will be expecting this team to be challenging on all fronts,

in reality we will be fighting for champions league spots, playing the kids in the cups and will be lucky to make it past the league stage of the CL

Piss poor planning leads to piss poor performance

After the season the club and the fans endured last year, I thought the owners would have wanted to avoid a repeat

Adding a new manager and a couple of players is nowhere near enough.

There’s running a club sustainably, and there’s hanging the team out to dry

.. and instead of choosing to back the manager and bring in not only the replacements needed to fill in for the players that have left but also quality players to add depth to an already depleted squad

They have chosen to go into the season short again just like last year

As a fan base we all want our club to be pushing for titles and competing for the elite honours.

But you can’t do that without the right tools.

The club have replaced slot with iraola

knowing the squad and the football last season was not good enough..

We’ve not got a proper replacement for Mo at RW - we’ve known he was going for 6 months

Kerkez is still suspect at the back

Frimpong is not a right back at all

Arajuo is quality but only on loan

Jones was a squad player so that’s a pathway opened up for Nyoni

Mad that we’ve said goodbye to Robbo, ibou, jones and King Mo in one summer

And we’ve only signed Munoz, araujo and barcola

*no including jacquet as he was signed last season as an early arrival.

#lfc #transferdeadlineday

[Mike | Shearer @LFC_Mike94]

@formanant1 Espescially considering jacquet was actually signed last season as an “early, done deal arrival”

[Mike | Shearer @LFC_Mike94]

@Symply_rhoda1 Chaos is a ladder 🪜

🚨🚨🚨 BOMBA BOMBA BOMBA:

I’d believe his every word.

If he is saying Diomande is done ☑️. Then it’s true. #LFC

[indykaila News @indykaila]

Newcastle United are furious with @LFC after hijacking Víctor Muñoz's transfer.

They might make an official complaint.
