@SamueILFC We’re actually headed in the right direction now: Woodfine and Ward will take things forward under Gordan. Edwards and Hughes were totally the wrong appointments. Our transfer business last summer was very questionable: set us back 2/3 seasons.
@Jordan22w These players gave their all on the pitch. Konate and Trent were smart to fool the club and run down their contracts thereby collect big sign on fee and even bigger wages at Madrid. Liverpool really needs to be smart and not allow any player to run down their contract, simple.
@LFCTransferRoom@ideal_granada We spent ridiculous money on Wirtz and Isak, one season on and we still have to build the team around them to get the best out of them which shouldn't be the case.
Signings like Munoz and this one are low risk and high reward, our success came through this.
@LFC92 Woodfine will do well, he’s been at the club for many years. Hughes can’t be arsed, should’ve been binned much earlier. Don’t know what Edwards role is apart from hiring a sporting director to oversee everything, should be binned too..
@AnfieldEdition@davidlynchlfc@AnfieldIndex 20m for him is a v good deal even if he turns 30 in december. Chiesa and Elliott would leave for 30-40m combined at least. We can bring in Bowen and another better winger.
@Mobyhaque1 It happens everywhere. That’s what agents exist, you think an agent’s job is just to negotiate better terms with the existing club? The player himself can do that easily. Agents pitch their clients to everyone to get the best deal. Atletico are crybabies. Felix now Alvarez.
@AnfieldPapers@SkySportPL Everyone who watches him play can see how fearless and good he is for his age, the end product will come. Slot would've sabotaged his development.
