@xjamesflippin@StevenACohen2 I’m astonished by the @StevenACohen2 “doesn’t care about the Mets” or “it was always about the casino” comments. Criticize coaching or Stearns all you want, but ownership? Laughable. Must be too young or have too short a memory to remember the Wilpon regime.

You won't find a player with more class than Brandon Nimmo - and here is yet another reason why. He has been that way his entire career. Such an easy guy to root for.
@BNightengale They can be great at recruitment & development, but don’t pretend that’s the sole reason for their success. The hoarding of TV revenue along with their other financial resources, huge deferrals, and geographical advantages play the bigger role in their success.
@BNightengale To not mention the part where they got a sweetheart deal with the bankruptcy filing allowing them to shelter an estimated $1B-2B for the length of their TV deal, giving them a huge financial advantage other teams do not get to utilize, is lazy, IMO.
@DanClarkSports I thought this during NYM/CO game. Called grand slam on field, announcers and Mendoza immediately thought foul, yet MLB relies on broadcast views. We can call balls/strikes within .1 inches, get launch angles, velocity, etc but can’t get a camera angle to determine fair or foul?
@The7Line He’ll be there. We all know this begins with a “players only” meeting. That’s always the first step during this process. Then manager gets fired if things don’t improve. Like clockwork, every time.
@anniefreyshow This has to be AI, right? You start off your argument by agreeing with what was said, and then spout off a bunch of false narratives about New York City as a comparison. You’re soft and a weirdo.
@JonHeyman Weird. No one wants anything to do with a guy who set the bar at 7/200m at 32 yrs old and crosses up his catcher on purpose? What a saint for exhibiting “patience”.
