The community was born in the midst of the bear in August 2022, thanks to a free mint by an anonymous artist who made this pixel (fine) art of pfps Classic and Cyber.

In over three years, we've quietly built a lot, and we're still going strong. We've helped several artists emerge. And we created a second smart-contract to prevent the collection from disappearing. This new smart-contract protects the art and the holders and the Trademark 'Genuine Undead' own by Genuine Undead Holding.

GU Origins is the original smart-contract. Genuine Undead is the migrated GU origins to the new smart-contract with all upgrade and new features exclusive only for Genuine Undead:
